OPEN CALL

For in Zagreb, Croatia, in 2026 to participate in a group exhibition taking place in at the Liszt Institute in Zagreb.
All submitted artworks will be judged by a jury of art experts will be judged, and the selected works will be given a one-month exhibition opportunity at the Hungarian Cultural Center in Croatia.
In order to obtain the highest possible quality of the works, the theme is free of choice..
We welcome and prioritize works related to the Hungarian culture, or to any commemorative year of 2026 . (Mór Jókai, Géza Bereményi, István Csukás, etc.)

LISZT INSTITUTE – HUNGARIAN CULTURAL CENTER – ZAGREB

The Liszt Institute – Hungarian Cultural Center in Zagreb opened its doors on January 3, 2014. Their main task is to promote Hungarian civilization, art and science. The institute is located in the narrowest center of the Croatian capital, about 50-100 meters from the main square and the cathedral.

ENTRY FEE 

Entry fee includes the submission of 1 artwork It includes the entry and, if successfully selected, its exhibition at the Liszt Institute in Zagreb.

Entry fees during the entry period are as follows:

  • EXTRA EARLY BIRD (until NOVEMBER 30): first entry for non-members 55 € (20,000 HUF), for members of The Artist Chamber 30€ (10,000 HUF). 
  • EARLY BIRD (until DECEMBER 31): first entry for non-members 65€ (25,000 HUF), for members of The Artist Chamber 40€ (15,000 HUF).
  • NORMAL REGISTRATION PRICE (UNTIL FEBRUARY 3): first entry for non-members 80€ (30,000 HUF), for members of The Artist Chamber 25,000 HUF. 
  • Entry fee for all additional works for all applicants for the entire submission period is 30€ (10,000 HUF).
